Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | Inpatient Rehab | Gallup, NM | Start 06/29/2026 | 13 weeks | $1,589–$1,719 per week | Guaranteed hours 35 per week | Shift 08:00–16:30 | Skilled Nursing Facility travel assignment

Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric inpatients in a rehab-focused skilled nursing setting
- Assess functional status, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and adjust goals as patients progress
- Administer therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, mobility, balance, strength, and cognitive/perceptual skills
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, nursing, SLP, physicians) to coordinate patient care and communicate progress
- Ensure patient safety, equipment upkeep, and adherence to infection control and privacy protocols

Requirements
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license or eligibility to practice in New Mexico
- Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work the scheduled shift (08:00–16:30) and meet guaranteed hours
- CPR/BLS certification as required by the assignment or facility
