Field Service Technician – CNC Machine Repair
Location: travel across Eastern PA/Southern NJ/Maryland/Delaware
Company is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair CNC machinery throughout Eastern PA, Southern NJ, Maryland, and Delaware.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, align, calibrate, and test CNC machines
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, motor, drive, and control systems
- Service FANUC, Mazak, Okamoto, and similar CNC equipment
- Train customer operators and maintenance teams
- Complete service reports and manage tools/parts inventory
- Travel independently to customer sites, with occasional overnight stays
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on CNC service experience
- Strong electrical, mechanical, and PLC troubleshooting skills
- Experience with FANUC, Mazak, or similar controls preferred
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel extensively
