This contract-based position serves multiple schools within a district near Springfield, Tennessee. As an integral part of the physical therapy team, you will work closely with a licensed Physical Therapist to help students reach their fullest potential within the educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy settings is a plus, but highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability and willingness to travel daily between different school sites within the district (reliable transportation required)
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, special education staff, and related service providers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver prescribed physical therapy interventions and support services to students under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist in implementing individualized student treatment plans and monitor progress towards therapy goals
• Promote student mobility, independence, and engagement in school activities
• Accurately document therapy sessions and student progress according to school and district guidelines
• Collaborate with staff and actively participate in IEP meetings and other student support initiatives when requested
• Travel as needed to multiple school locations across the district
