Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 5x8 hrs Hours: 40 hrs/week Start Date: April 27, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Details Hospital‑based outpatient rehab setting, located off the main hospital campus. Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8‑hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No on‑call or weekend requirements; holiday coverage may be required. Candidate may be required to float to meet facility needs. Charting is performed in Epic. Free parking available on site. Requirements Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience. SC Physical Therapist license or Multi‑State Compact PT license required at contract start. Current BLS certification required (AHA accepted). First‑time travelers are not accepted. Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility. SSN and Driver's License required for consideration. Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years. Additional Information Candidates must submit all RTO requests at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs. Previous permanent or PRN staff at any location in the MUSC system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler. Orientation modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment. Charcoal gray scrubs are required. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September.
