Residential Lead HVAC Installer

Overview Do you have at least five years of HVAC installation experience? We are looking for you! The Residential Lead Installer is responsible for replacement/repairs to mechanical and controls of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation equipment sold or serviced by the company. Responsible for maintaining the quality of work up to acceptable company standards, and for representing the company to the customer in a professional manner that promotes good long-term relationships. Compensation $60,000 - $125,000 Annually Benefits Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Company Paid Life Insurance Reports To: Installation Manager Pay Structure Performance Pay Structure Essential Functions Be courteous, neat, clean, and in uniform at all times. Complete necessary installations and repairs in a professional & profitable manner. General ductwork assembly including fiberglass duct board, sheet metal ductwork, and flexible ductwork. Adhere to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (time cards, work orders, return material tags, etc.) and electronic devices. Input accurate information utilizing the devices regarding start up forms and installation documentation before leaving the job. Collect C.O.D. payments from customers according to replacement department policy. Maintain vehicle organization & appearance, both inside and out on a weekly basis. Report any mechanical problems to the vehicle maintenance coordinator. Truck inventory should be maintained according to standard truck inventory list. Shortages will be the responsibility of the lead installer. Maintain and protect company tools assigned. Input/edit all model, serial numbers, and filters for customer location. Follows EPA and company CFC policies. Responsible for the purchase, upkeep and replacement of personal hand tools, meters, and other specialized tools required to perform job duties. Available to work out of town if needed with ample notice, based on business needs. May include overnight stay. Available for after hours / emergency installation, based on business needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High school diploma. Trade school or equivalent. Must complete a minimum of (30) hours of continuing education annually. Must have a minimum Type I and II C.F.C. certification. Must be registered with the State of Texas Licensing and Regulations. Must have a valid driver licenses and pass insurance requirements. 5 Years of Residential HVAC Installation Experience Physical Requirements Must be able to work with step ladders and extension ladders. Not afraid of heights. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds above the waist. Must be able to work in attics and crawlspaces.
