Radiologic Technologist Computed Tomography

Night Shift: 3x12's, Monday-Wednesday 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM & Thursday-Saturday 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in certain states, Preferred in current state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Required, if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification: Required, if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• At least two years of recent experience in the field: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and billing information.
• Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and calibration, and manage supply inventory.
