Pine Branch Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, NC is seeking a full-time, ordained, non-Calvinist, Southern Baptist pastor as our former pastor resigned effective July 27, 2025 due to health reasons. Spruce Pine is a small rural town in Western North Carolina centrally located between Asheville, Boone and Johnson City, TN. We are a Southern Baptist church that aligns with the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message Statement. We strongly prefer the King James Version from the pulpit and for literature. We are prayerfully seeking the man whom God has chosen to serve as our next pastor. He will serve as preacher, teacher, shepherd, overseer, servant, visionary, and steward of Christ’s church and its members. We are seeking the man that has a vision and strong theological background to lead us into the next season God has for Pine Branch Baptist Church. We are a very mission minded church and believe in local, state, national, and international missions. We support missions through the cooperative program, the North American Missions board, and the International Missions Board.
