Children’s Lighthouse of Hoover is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic Preschool Teacher to join our team!
Our teachers help create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom where children can learn, play, and grow. We are looking for someone who truly enjoys working with young children and understands the importance of providing quality care each day.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming classroom environment
- Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day
- Implement daily curriculum, learning activities, art projects, and classroom experiences
- Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and other daily routines
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom
- Communicate professionally with parents, coworkers, and administration
- Follow all school policies and Alabama DHR licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred
- Must be dependable, punctual, patient, and professional
- Must be able to work well as part of a team
- Must have a genuine love for working with children
