Production Line Lead

Production Line Lead (Line C) Job Summary The Production Line Lead oversees daily operations of a production or packaging line, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while leading a team on the floor. This is a hands-on role that requires working alongside employees, troubleshooting issues, and keeping production on track. This position is physically demanding and requires standing for long periods (up to 90% of the shift), lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in hot and cold environments. Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and support a production line team Monitor production performance, quality, and safety Set up lines and ensure proper operation throughout the shift Troubleshoot issues and partner with maintenance when needed Track production metrics such as output, waste, and downtime Train and support employees, including cross-training team members Identify and help improve workflow and efficiency Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and company policies Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Bilingual (English required; Spanish is a plus) Flexible schedule (including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed) Previous experience as a Line Lead or similar role in manufacturing Food manufacturing experience is a plus Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Comfortable coaching and directing team members Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) About Dessert Holdings: Dessert Holdings is a collection of premium dessert companies and brands: The Original Cakerie, Lawler's Desserts, Atlanta Cheesecake Company, Steven Charles, Dianne's Fine Desserts, Kenny's Great Pies, and Willamette Valley Pie Company.
