Qualifications and Experience:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with students, teachers, and families
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations to determine therapy needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
• Assist with mobility, adaptive equipment, and accessibility recommendations within the school setting
• Promote physical well-being and independence for students with varying abilities
