This position requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.This Per Diem position is located in our Ambulatory Surgery Center in Towson, MD. Pay Range $38-45/hourHow You'll Contribute:Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plansPerform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgeryProvide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family membersDemonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedationAdminister medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directedProvide patient educationWhat You'll Bring:Active RN licenseCurrent BLS and ACLS certification2-3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferredStrong technical and clinical assessment skillsAbility to access, input, and retrieve information from a computerAbility to work independently and demonstrate good judgmentAbility to communicate accurately and conciselyMore important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
