Travel Long Term Care RN

Role: Long Term Care RN responsible for providing skilled nursing care in a facility setting. Key Responsibilities Assess and monitor residents' health, developing and updating individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments, including wound care and IV therapy. Supervise and support nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately. Educate residents and families on treatments and chronic condition management. Document care, resident progress, and respond to emergencies promptly. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills One year of recent LTC RN experience and valid RN license. Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred. Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. Physical ability to move equipment and assist residents. Proficiency in reading, writing, and technology use. Ability to work under pressure, handle irregular schedules, and maintain focus.
