Description Job Title: Child Development Assistant Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Child Development Assistant to support teachers in delivering educational activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in children. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in planning and implementing educational activities that promote child development. Aid in the preparation of weekly classroom activities and materials. Support field trip organization and logistics. Ensure workstations are sanitized and maintained for a safe learning environment. Help arrange and organize the classroom to enhance learning experiences. Act as an advocate for the childcare program, promoting its values and mission. Adhere to Department Policies and Procedures, as well as the Gunnison Valley Hospital Mission, Vision, Values, and Motto of “The Patient is First in All We Do.” Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff. Knowledge of child development principles and practices. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.
