• Be the on‑site technical driver for PVD operations—plan experiments, coach teams, and translate learnings into standard work.
• Improve flow, yield, and quality using data, SPC, and rigorous problem‑solving methodologies (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
• Lead application development and production scale‑ups with the Plant Management team.
• Implement targeted equipment or process upgrades to unlock capability and capacity.
• Own QMS adherence—maintain ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 processes; train colleagues on procedures and work instructions.
• Embed Lean tools (5S, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate waste and stabilize outcomes.
• Tackle related tasks as the operation evolves.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science/Metallurgy, or Plasma Physics.
• 3+ years’ hands‑on vacuum coating experience in thin films; deep familiarity with PVD/PACVD equipment and processes.
• Working knowledge of ISO quality systems; APQP experience including PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Mechanical design aptitude with AutoCAD (or similar) and the ability to manage small to mid‑size projects.
• Clear communication, strong organization, detail orientation, and a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~10%).

• Competitive salary: $75,000–$95,000 plus bonus eligibility.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (salaried).
