Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Experience 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. Requirements Candidates must have a license (required after submission). Local & travel allowed. COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - York Hospital. Required Skills/Experience Experience with ICU patients is required. Must have experience in a hospital setting. Unit Details / Responsibilities Evaluates and participates in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures for patients with respiratory-related difficulties in accordance with physician orders. Provides advanced level of care, assessment, and education in respiratory therapy. Evaluates, monitors, and controls complex life support systems that ventilate acute or chronically ill patients. Performs complex respiratory therapy mechanical ventilator procedures, including pressure and volume control and other modes of continuous ventilation. Participates as a member of the cardiac arrest team and responds to emergencies. Shift & Scheduling Variable days. 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Holiday coverage: No call requirement. Maximum time off: 7 days. 1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months. Proof of identification required.
