Associate Project Manager, U.S Public Sector What you’ll do The role of the Associate Project Manager is to support a Senior Project Manager, Portfolio Manager, or Program Manager in all aspects of the project life cycle: initiate, plan, monitor and control, and close. This is a junior position responsible for performing a basic function to support SAP Services delivery execution on customer engagements. Responsibilities Assist in the delivery of SAP Software and services as required and directed by SAP Delivery or Project Manager Assist with project coordination, planning and management Capture project metrics and ensure they are clearly communicated to appropriate SAP or Customer team members Manage revenue backlog in SAP systems for assigned projects Expectations and Tasks Participate in initial training to quickly learn targeted SAP technologies and methodologies. Maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction and develop referenceable customers. Create and maintain procedures and manuals. Track project status through use of internal and external tracking tools and assist in weekly status reporting. Assist in developing process and templates and establishing document control procedures. Support project team through data management, scheduling and coordination of events. Manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, and respond to project and customer needs. Adapt and function effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment while working under deadlines. Demonstrate initiative and drive results while accepting increasing levels of responsibility. Build credible relationships with peers and clients and pursue continuous professional learning. Learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively. What you bring Entry‑level experience, up to 2 years in a corporate environment. Prefer prior experience involving project coordination or an administrative project specialist function. Graduated from an accredited university with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration (with emphasis on Finance or Project Management) or a related field. Ability to work as a team player and independently. Analytical and detail‑oriented mindset. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, listening). Willingness to travel, sometimes extensively.
