Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehabilitation Unit
Location: California
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience, with a preference for those who have worked in ARU settings, though candidates with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Outpatient (OP), or Acute settings will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
- Implement therapy interventions to improve patient mobility and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit preferred.
