Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Location: Rochester, New York
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | 4×10-hour shifts
Shift: 9:00 AM–7:30 PM
Gross Weekly Pay: $1,500–$1,600/week
Experience: 3+ years preferred
Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support a high-volume Operating Room environment across multiple surgical service lines.

The Surgical Technologist will assist surgical teams with case preparation, sterile technique, instrumentation, specimen handling, surgical safety, and intraoperative support across a broad range of procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong General OR experience , excellent knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic technique, and experience supporting complex surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

Required Certifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• BLS – American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• CST requirement may be waived for travelers who previously worked as a Surgical Technologist in New York prior to 2015, subject to facility requirements.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Experience across multiple surgical service lines preferred.
• Strong General OR experience.
• Epic experience required.
• Experience with sterile technique, decontamination, sterilization, and surgical instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of surgical safety and Universal Protocol.
