Our work is urgent — not because of startup timelines, but because our customers rely on us to drive financial resilience and operational clarity in a system under strain.About the RoleAs an Operations Coordinator at Ascertain, you'll own and coordinate key operational workflows across the entire employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through offboarding—while also supporting executive operations, office logistics, vendor management, and internal systems administration. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to solve problems in a fast-moving environment.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people-focused work with operational execution and who thrives in environments where no two days look the same.What You'll DoSupport recruiting and hiring operations by coordinating interview scheduling, candidate communications, resume review, reference checks, offer logistics, background checks, and employment verification processes.Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, first-day orientation, and performance managementOversee internal systems, software access provisioning, role changes, hardware inventory, asset tracking, and vendor relationships across HR, recruiting, and IT operations.Own executive scheduling and calendar coordination, including complex internal/external scheduling, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements.Conduct operational research and analysis, build and maintain reporting, and use spreadsheets and data to identify trends, answer business questions, and support leadership decision-making.Conduct operational research, reporting, and spreadsheet-based analysis to support leadership decision-making and improve organizational processes.What We're Looking For3–5+ years of experience in business operations, startup operations, executive operations, or a similarly cross-functional role, with demonstrated ownership of projects or operational processes.Proven ability to manage complex calendars, priorities, and competing deadlines across multiple stakeholders.Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Experience working with spreadsheets, productivity tools, and operational systems.Comfort handling confidential and sensitive employee information.Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills; comfortable working with operational data, identifying patterns, and turning findings into clear recommendations.Demonstrated ability to take an ambiguous or inefficient process, determine what needs to change, and implement a solution.Why Ascertain?
