Research Associate I - Microbiome Culturomics and Mouse Modeling

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant I to join our microbiome research lab. The ideal candidate will contribute to studies focused on culturomics and mouse modeling.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Perform culturomics techniques, including anaerobic and aerobic culturing methods.
- Isolate and characterize microbiome species using microbial identification techniques and genomic analysis.
- Manage and care for laboratory mice, including monitoring health, administering treatments, and preparing biological samples.
- Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze data and contribute to publications.
- Support general laboratory operations, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences.
- 0-2 years of research/laboratory experience.
