Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8am – 4:30pm

Hourly Rate: $16.38 - $20.48
*Compensation dependent on experience

Kirby Medical Center is expanding our billing department and is looking for a detailed oriented individual to compile itemized hospital bills, verify patient insurance coverage and go over their benefits. This position will work closely with Admitting, Medical Records and KMG.

Job Responsiblities :

• Post payments and make deposit
• Working with Accounting to resolve issues
• Assists with cost reporting
• Work with Vendors for EFT's
• Answer phone calls professionally and be able to direct to correct personnel
• Be Flexible, organize and function well in stressful situations
• Interact professionally with patients and their families

• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent patient interaction
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Health Insurance knowledge a plus
