Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00–18:30) | 5 on / 2 off, rotating with call | Overnight call rotation required | Every other weekend coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting, working alongside IR Attendings, IR Fellows, and Radiology Residents
• Perform circulator duties and administer conscious sedation as required
• Monitor patients via telemetry and manage an average daily census of 5–6 patients at a staffing ratio of 1:6
• Participate in overnight call rotation and float within the unit as needed
• Provide every-other-weekend coverage and be available for 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
• In the event of an emergency, be prepared to remain at the facility or serve as part of a relief team as directed by the unit manager

Required Qualifications

• Active Compact or Louisiana RN license in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or related specialty
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA-issued)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Circulator experience, conscious sedation, and telemetry skills required
• Must be able to work independently and integrate into the unit immediately — no first-time travelers
• NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and current within 4 weeks of submission date
• Must live more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from the address on driver's license to facility address) to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with infants and pediatric patients
• Level 1 trauma, Neuro IR, ICU, ED, or Telemetry Step-Down experience
• Scrub experience
• CPI, NIH Stroke Scale, and/or PALS certifications
