Overnight Youth Development Professional

Hillcrest Educational Centers is looking for a dedicated Overnight Youth Development Professional to join our team-someone who not only values the mission of youth empowerment and safety but also prefers the calm and structure of overnight work.

Requirements: High School Degree or GED

Pay Range : $22.00-$25.25/hr (based on the highest level of education and applicable experience) + Shift Differentials (extra $0.50 or $2.50/hr);

Where will you be working?

Brookside ITU is located in Great Barrington, MA and helps girls ages 6-21 who have serious emotional and behavior challenges. Many of these students have had a hard time in other placements or have been in and out of hospitals. Our goal is to help break that cycle and find what works for each child.

We offer a safe place where students can stabilize and receive a full evaluation from a team of professionals. Each student is different, so we create a personalized plan based on their unique needs and strengths. With small classes, more staff support, and fewer students per clinician, we're able to give each child the attention they need.

After the evaluation, we make a plan for what's next-this could mean moving to a less-restrictive program, returning home, or continuing care at Brookside if more support is still needed.

What will you be doing?

• Responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and well-being of all students in your assigned area.
• Supporting students in acquiring coping skills by guiding them to make thoughtful choices and understand the impact of their decisions.
• Participating as a member of the Treatment Team to help ensure consistent care and support.
