Our team members are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of residents every day.As an Activities Director, you provide overall leadership for a vibrant, resident-centered activities and volunteer program that promotes connection, wellness, and purpose across the community. What You'll Do:Lead and oversee daily activities, events, outings, and wellness programsDevelop engaging calendars and newsletters aligned with resident interestsRecruit, inspire, and manage activities team members and volunteersBuild partnerships with local organizations and community groupsOversee drivers and coordinate community outingsManage the department budget and monitor expensesReview resident surveys and lead Resident Council meetingsEnsure compliance with federal, state/province, and Sunrise quality standardsCollaborate with Sales, Dining, and leadership on community eventsHire, coach, schedule, and develop team membersYou create meaningful experiences while building a strong, energized team that enhances resident life every day.What We're Looking For:Degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, or related field OR Certified Activity Professional2+ years experience in senior living or community recreation2+ years leadership or supervisory experienceStrong organizational, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to manage budgets and multiple prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and eventsPay Range: 26.75 - 33.50Ready to take the next step and make a bigger impact than you ever imagined?
