Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) - Jackson, MI

Seeking a skilled registered nurse with experience in Stepdown and Progressive Care Units (PCU) to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in a Stepdown or PCU setting
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, titration of vasoactive drips, and post-operative care
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document patients' progress, providing appropriate interventions as needed
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions based on physician orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
• Participate in patient rounds, hand-offs, and care planning discussions
