EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a Board Certified Urologist to take on the role of Senior Medical Director within our established, hospital-affiliated practice. This is a full-time position that offers flexible scheduling options. Previous leadership experience is highly desirable.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• Base Salary: $708,320 for the initial two-year contract.
• Salary Adjustment: A 5% reduction for those who are not yet board certified, with adjustments made upon certification.

The two-year contract also includes:

• Vacation: 272 hours of holidays and sick leave (equivalent to 34 PTO days).
• CME/Books & Journals: 80 hours (10 days PTO) and funding up to $7,000.
• Deferred Compensation: Participation in a 457b plan, allowing deferral of up to $24,500 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
• Retirement/Savings Plan: A 403b plan enabling deferral of up to $24,500 annually before taxes for those under 50, and $31,000 for those over 50. The organization matches contributions dollar for dollar up to 2% of base salary.
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 provided for moving expenses.
• Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
• Health Insurance: A small premium is deducted from the physician's paycheck.
• Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for two years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
• Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000 available ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment).
• Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, contingent upon a two-year service commitment.
• Sign-On Bonus: 15% of the base salary, up to $100,000, payable upon contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years based on the bonus amount.
• Bonus Incentives: Attractive bonus opportunities of up to 10% of salary.

PRACTICE DETAILS:

• Location: Portsmouth, OH 45662, Waller Building Suite 308.
• Office Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to noon. This schedule is flexible.
• Call Schedule: 1:3 call, approximately 17 weeks per year.
• Staffing: Includes 2 Nurse Practitioners, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 Clinical Staff, 1 Surgery Scheduler, and 1 UDS Technician.
• Patient Load: 15-20 patients per day in the outpatient clinic, with 3-4 half-day clinics and 4-8 procedures daily in the operating room.
• Equipment: Utilizes Meditech and Dragon Medical One, UDS Machine, 2 monitors for cystoscopies, 3-4 rigid cystoscopes, 8 flexible cystoscopes, disposable cystoscopes with two monitors and a bovie, and an ultrasound machine with a vaginal/rectal probe and a Trophon.
• Practice Expectations: Leadership experience, participation in weekly tumor board meetings, integration into the organizational culture, and effective teamwork with staff.
