The opportunity is for a Perioperative Services Registered Nurse working in an operating room environment within a hospital setting. The position supports perioperative care from admission through discharge, with responsibilities across pediatric through geriatric patients. This travel assignment includes regularly scheduled shifts plus on-call coverage. Experience in ortho, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy is valued.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care within the perioperative period, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patients from admission to discharge
- Advocate for and ensure patient safety during the perioperative phase
- Support and assist with ortho, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy cases
- Collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to optimize outcomes
- Perform and monitor sterile technique, patient positioning, and equipment setup
- Document perioperative care accurately and communicate changes to the care team

Requirements
- Perioperative nursing experience with exposure to ortho, general surgery, GYN, and endoscopy
- Ability to work nights and participate in call coverage (every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend as noted in job details)
- Comfortable providing nursing care across pediatric through geriatric patient populations
- Effective collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative personnel
- Adaptability to a hospital perioperative setting and fast-paced environment
