And our success allows Maharam to support causes that align with our values, so we can build a more sustainable, equitable, and beautiful future for everyone.With general supervision, operate machines to move ordered product through the warehouse to shipping.**Essential Functions*** Operate turret truck and/or order picker machines* Pick textile rolls from shelves and move to order processing staging area* Return unused rolls of textiles back to shelves* Stock shelves with newly received textile rolls* Load and unload trucks* Lift up to 70 lbs. when necessary**Magnitude and relationship reporting**This position reports to the Warehouse supervisors and may receive additional assignments from the Warehouse Manager.**Contacts inside and outside the organization**This position typically will have contact with all other warehouse employees, and some contact with other departments. Receiving personnel would have contact with truckers.**Knowledge and Skills*** Self motivated* Knowledge of UPS online system a plus* Hilo and power jack experience required* Able to work in a fast paced environment* Detail oriented* Able to work independently* Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently**Education and Experience*** High School diploma or equivalent* Warehouse experience preferredSimply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors .
