General Liability Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, handling a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex matters and collaborate with experienced attorneys in a supportive environment. Duties Support a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including case strategy development and trial preparation. Draft and argue substantive motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda in state and federal courts. Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts. Manage all aspects of written discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production. Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and clients. Maintain regular communication with clients, providing case assessments and strategic recommendations. Work closely with attorneys on complex matters involving general liability and related claims. Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit development. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff for efficient case management. Requirements JD from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice in the State of Texas. 1+ years of defense litigation experience preferred. Experience with general liability, personal injury, and related litigation preferred.
