What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, and skeletal functions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Collaborate with physicians to submit and update treatment regimes within the plan of care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options, prognosis, and management strategies.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students while overseeing patient care.
• Recommend and facilitate adaptive/supportive equipment needs for patients.
• Document patient responses and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Promote interdisciplinary teamwork by participating in conferences and community education initiatives.
• Serve as a case manager for assigned patients, ensuring optimal care coordination.

What You Need

• Michigan state license in Physical Therapy
• Ability to perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role (lifting, moving, postural changes)
• Commitment to patient safety and confidentiality
