We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented machine operator to operate a Threading Machine. You must be able to set up, run, and monitor threading equipment used in the production of metal parts, fasteners, and components. Ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude who enjoy hands‑on work and consistent production routines.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines according to production specifications
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment for threading operations
- Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments to maintain quality
- Inspect threaded parts using gauges, calipers, and visual checks
- Maintain accurate production records and follow work orders
- Perform basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized
- Identify defects and communicate issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand machine parts, tools, and how components interact.
- Experience setting up, running, and adjusting industrial machines.
- Threading requires precision tools like micrometers, calipers, and thread gauges.
- Operators must interpret thread specifications, pitch, diameter, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of OSHA rules, PPE, lockout/tagout, and safe machine handling.
- Threading requires monitoring tension, alignment, and defect detection.
- Standing for long periods, lifting materials, and performing repetitive tasks.
