Job Title

Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location

Fairfield, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and provide total patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice within a Medical Surgical setting
• Direct and guide patient teaching activities to support positive health outcomes
• Supervise and coordinate activities of ancillary personnel to ensure quality care delivery

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Must meet all health and compliance requirements including current immunizations, TB testing, drug screen, background check, and Iowa Mandatory Reporter certification (Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical nursing environment is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Additional certifications such as TNCC, PALS, or NRP are a plus
