Inventory Control Clerk

Responsibilities The Inventory Control Clerk manages the secured flow and chain of custody for precious alloy and materials at the Denton Plant. Duties include weighing and recording all precious metals when received and issued from the vault for ring fabrication or other locations. The clerk maintains accurate inventory of precious metals, allocates use for casting, re‑alloying, and other production uses, collects and processes daily gold scrap from the production floor, verifies weights and quantities, conducts and reports weekly cycle counts of precious alloys, analyzes and corrects inventory variances, and participates in quarterly inventories. The role also involves issuing manufacturing supplies to the shop floor, managing inventory levels by maintaining logs of supplies issued, completing cycle counts on manufacturing supplies, accepting shipments at the dock and delivering items to various departments, and assisting the materials department with other tasks. Accurate perpetual inventory and record keeping is essential.
