About This Role

We are seeking a Childcare Provider to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment, supervising children, and implementing engaging educational activities.

To be successful, you should have experience working with children, possess strong behavior management skills, and be able to effectively communicate with parents. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in a daycare setting is a plus.

This position may require occasional evening hours. If you are passionate about childcare and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a passion for childcare are essential qualities for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Establish a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs
• Supervise children during all activities, including playtime, meals, and naptime
• Work collaboratively with children to manage behavior and develop self-discipline
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare area

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to create and implement engaging educational activities
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of child welfare and development principles
• Previous experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Child Development Associate Certification
• CPR Certification
