Qualifications:

• Current occupational therapy licensure in Virginia
• BLS
• Experience: Minimum 1-year as an occupational therapist
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and facility personnel

Acute Care Occupational Therapist Contract Details:

• $2,000 - $2,166 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility of extension
• Acute care setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Occupational therapists will help patients regain as well as maintain the skills they need to live and work independently
• Occupational therapists will provide OT treatment and patient care according to facility guidelines
• Occupational therapists will need to have effective communication skills for working with patients, their families, and other caregivers.
• Occupational therapists may be asked to delegate and supervise occupational therapist assistants
