Emergency Room Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule: Shift: Nights, 19:00–07:30

Requirements:

• License: Active RN license in the state
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), TNCC, NIHSS, PALS
• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience
• EMR: Epic experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department.
• Assess and triage patients based on their medical needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective emergency healthcare.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month.
• Background checks and compliance with facility policies are required.
• Scrubs must be professional and free of holes or excessive wrinkles.
• No artificial nails; nail length must be 2 mm beyond fingertip.
