Job Description As a Security Officer in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will support access control, respond to alarms and incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a corporate technology office location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random patrols of office floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications to document patrols, observations, and security-related events. Minimum Requirements Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience. CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
