Server Position at The Osthoff ResortThe Osthoff Resort is seeking a skilled server to join our Food & Beverage team! The ideal candidate will provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to ensure the best experience possible to restaurant guests, supporting the AAA Four Diamond brand expectation.Duties and Responsibilities:Greet guests with warmth and professionalismPresent menus and specials, answer questions regarding the menu, and make thoughtful recommendationsAccurately take and enter ordersProvide attentive table service, anticipating guest needs and ensuring a seamless dining experiencePresent checks, process payments, and thank guests for their visitPromote the Osthoff Resort's service principle by example--respond to/resolve guest inquiries, complaints or concerns in a courteous, timely and efficient mannerInform Restaurant Manager/Supervisor/Team Leader of any issuesMaintain a harmonious work environmentMaintains service presentation, sanitation, and organization of work areaSet tables according to standards during and after serviceStay updated on current menu choices, features, menu deviations, and 86'ed itemsAssist in the checklists at the beginning/end of each shift with the team, including polishing, cleaning, prepping, and restocking of suppliesComplete proper end-of-day reports (Sales Reports, Financial Reports, Tip Reports)Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisorAll other duties as assignedQualifications:At least 18 years of ageStrong customer/ guest service skillsAt least one year of serving experienceBe able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our GuestsHave working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipesPossess basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate the POSBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of timeMust possess a positive attitude as a contributor to a diverse work environmentWhy Work at the Osthoff Resort?
