As we continue our rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead accurate, compliant and scalable payroll operations across G42 Americas in the United States, Canada, France and Ireland. The Opportunity The Payroll Manager will own the end-to-end payroll lifecycle across G42 Americas, ensuring employees are paid accurately, compliantly and on time as the organization scales across North America and Europe. The successful candidate will bring deep US payroll expertise, hands-on experience with Rippling HRIS and Payroll, and practical knowledge of complex multi-country payroll operations. You will partner with Human Capital, Finance, Legal and external payroll providers to strengthen controls, resolve issues, improve employee experience and build payroll processes that can support rapid growth. G42 Americas is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, with this role based in Bellevue. We are in the formative stage of building the company, its leadership team, operating rhythms and culture, and we value meaningful time together in person. The role will require comfort operating across the US and Europe as G42 Americas scales its organization and operations. Key Responsibilities Payroll Operations and Delivery Manage end-to-end payroll processing across the United States, Canada, France and Ireland. Oversee employee payments, taxation, benefits deductions, bonuses, equity-related payroll activities and off-cycle payments. Ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery and prompt resolution of employee payroll queries and issues. Compliance, Controls and Governance Own payroll accuracy, reconciliations, controls, governance and compliance with local statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial and international payroll regulations and reporting obligations. Lead payroll audits, issue resolution and corrective actions in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Systems, Data and Process Excellence Administer and optimize HRIS and Payroll solutions. Drive payroll automation, process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare payroll metrics, dashboards and executive reporting for senior leadership. Cross-functional Partnership and Scale Partner with Human Capital, Finance, Legal and external payroll providers to ensure seamless payroll delivery. Manage third-party payroll vendors and global employment providers against clear service and compliance expectations. Support organizational growth, acquisitions and international expansion activities as required. Candidate Profile Required Bachelor's degree in human resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered. 12-15+ years of progressive payroll experience, including ownership of complex payroll operations. Extensive US payroll expertise within a high-growth technology organization. Hands-on experience with HRIS and Payroll. Deep understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, statutory reporting, reconciliations and payroll controls. Experience managing payroll operations across the United States and exposure to multi-country payroll environments, ideally including Canada, France and Ireland. Experience partnering with third-party payroll vendors and global employment providers. Strong analytical, auditing, problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or comparable payroll certification. Experience supporting a multinational technology company. Exposure to a rapidly scaling or publicly traded organization. Experience supporting payroll integration for acquisitions or international expansion. The controls, systems and processes you establish will directly support a high-growth workforce and ensure a reliable employee experience as G42 Americas scales. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time role is $112,000-$168,000, with bonus, LTIP and benefits on top. Salary ranges are set according to the role, level, and location. The range listed on each job posting represents the minimum and maximum target base salary for new hires across all U.S. locations.
