Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Santa Rosa, California. The role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Labor and Delivery Department of an acute care facility. Candidates are required to bring their valid California license on the first day. The position offers the opportunity to work night shifts, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Intermediate level certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Candidates must have a valid California license in hand and be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The traveler must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays. RTO (Leave of Absence) must be included at the time of submission. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last three years are required, including Charge RNs or Lead RNs. The traveler must be willing to float between like units and possibly to sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Copies of certifications and specific charting experience in Epic are required.
• Unit-specific Notes: The unit is a Labor and Delivery Department with a high level of clinical procedures and certifications required, including blood product administration, neonatal and maternal assessments, high-risk delivery assistance, and fetal monitoring, among others.
• Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, perform various obstetric?? activities, and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.
