TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Ottumwa, Iowa, 52501!

Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (7p–7a)

Location

Ottumwa, Iowa

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit during overnight shifts
• Maintain active labor patient ratios of 1:1 and couplet care ratios of 3:1
• Utilize intermediate fetal monitoring equipment and Philips Tracevue systems
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EHR
• Float to other units within the hospital as needed
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; Iowa licensure required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; travel experience may be considered alongside 1 year of experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications
• Mandatory Reporter certification (Child and Adult)
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening including opiates
• Titers within the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) and cleared background check including criminal and child abuse portions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR and Philips Tracevue fetal monitoring systems
• Experience floating to multiple units within a hospital setting
