Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently cook hot food products while preparing and portioning food items prior to cooking.
• Understand and execute menu items and techniques to ensure high-quality dishes.
• Collaborate as part of a team focused on delivering outstanding culinary experiences.
• Bring the necessary tools to perform your duties effectively, with the restaurant providing any additional tools needed.
• Taste and season food properly, regardless of the simplicity of the dish.
• Utilize various cooking methods and heat sources effectively.
• Receive and apply constructive criticism positively from fellow team members.
• Work with a variety of ingredients, including proteins, fruits, vegetables, grains, and spices.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during, and after service.
• Assist sous chefs in ordering and writing prep lists for the following day.
• Identify product quality and freshness to ensure the best culinary standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
• Strong communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for the 21c brand and its mission.
• Must pass a background check.

Schedule

• Full-time availability with flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
