Mental Health Therapist (Accepting Limited/Temp License)

Social Worker/Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT)

Job-type: Full-Time Day Shift (8:30 am-5 pm) Shifts: Sunday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients.
• Assess the therapeutic needs of individuals and families and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Serve as liaison with referral sources, clinical partners, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Conduct individual therapy sessions weekly for assigned residents.
• Lead or co-lead specialized therapy groups based on education, training, and experience.
• Select and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to the client's needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions, reports, and clinical notes.

Requirements:

• The candidate must be fully licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, and have acute and/or Residential Treatment Center experience. We also would prefer the candidate to have a specialty certification in trauma, somatic therapy, DBT, or a related area.
• Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of Criminal Background Check through DBHDS, Background Investigation Unit, and VDSS Registry Searches.
• Clearance of TB test, fingerprinting, state clearance, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
