Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a metal recycling facility. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing daily maintenance operations to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for all machinery and equipment
- Work with electrical and hydraulic systems (experience required)
- Troubleshoot and repair shredders, conveyors, balers, and other recycling machinery
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Ensure a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory
- Collaborate with operations to align maintenance priorities with production needs
- Lead, train, and support the maintenance team
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance; metal recycling experience a plus
- Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead and train a team effectively
- Having your own tools is a big plus
- Solid communication and organizational skills
