Journeyman Welder

Journeyman WelderWe are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on light gauge steel, aluminum, and stainless steel using FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes. If you take pride in precision workmanship, enjoy solving technical challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you.Shift Schedule:Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PMAfternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PMKey Responsibilities:Perform FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW (TIG) welding on various materialsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld specificationsEnsure weld quality meets company and industry standardsPerform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipmentMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentCollaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlinesRequired Education & Qualifications:Journeyman Welder Certification or minimum 3rd year apprenticeshipProven experience with FCAW and GMAW welding (GTAW/TIG preferred for Journeyman)Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsExperience with welding equipment maintenance and troubleshootingAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing settingStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExperience using shears and press brakes is considered an assetPhysical & Work Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbsWillingness to work overtime (weekdays and/or weekends) as requiredSafety Requirement – Respirator Use: This position requires the use of a respirator in certain tasks. In compliance with occupational health and safety standards, employees must be clean-shaven in areas where the respirator seals to the face to ensure proper fit and protection.
