Registered Nurse - Patient Educator (PRN) Immediate Openings - Lansing, MI

Abbott seeks a registered nurse to provide in-home patient education on PT/INR testing equipment and blood sampling techniques. The per-diem position involves remote appointment scheduling, customer travel, and documentation of training records.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct in-home training appointments with customers on PT/INR equipment use
- Demonstrate proper finger stick blood sampling and equipment operation techniques
- Explain test reporting options and communication procedures to patients
- Document and electronically submit training records using secure encrypted communication
- Maintain contact with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email, and internet
Requirements
- Current registered nurse license
- Clinical experience required
- Anticoagulation management or homecare experience preferred
- Health education training experience a plus
- Reliable personal transportation and laptop/desktop computer
- Computer and smart device proficiency
- Willingness to travel minimum 100 miles roundtrip
Compensation: $22.45–$44.85/hour
