IT Systems Support Specialist I/II

Our client, a government agency in the public sector, is seeking an IT Systems Support Specialist I/II to join their team. As an IT Systems Support Specialist I/II, you will be part of the Service Desk supporting the IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Systems Support Specialist I/II

Location: Sacramento, California

Pay Range: up to $30 per hour

What's the Job?

• Receive, review, track, troubleshoot, and resolve trouble reports related to system and application requests.
• Support systems using Active Directory, Adaxes, MECM, and other enterprise tools.
• Document issues and resolutions clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and communication with end-users.

What's Needed?

• Experience troubleshooting Windows systems and enterprise-level applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory or other identity management systems.
• Working knowledge of Jira for tracking and managing support calls.
• Familiarity with M365 and public sector IT environments is desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
