Field Calibration Technician

Join a company specializing in calibration, inspection, and repair as Field Calibration Technician. The Field Calibration Technician role is ideal for an professional that is willing to travel across the United States 25-40% of the time. WHAT YOU NEED Good level of accuracy Mechanically astute technician Ability to multitask and manage your time well A friendly and positive attitude CORE FOCUS OF THE ROLE Will be able to perform calibration Basic repair of precision test equipment Remaining focused on utilizing mechanical dimensional measuring instruments. SKILLS YOU NEED Pressure, torque, thermodynamics, weight/force, dimensional measurements including ULMs, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, and other distance/height gages. Previous work involving optical comparators and CMMs is also valuable. If you have electrical or electronic calibration experience, please also consider this position. Practical experience in evaluating tolerance gages, with the added ability to research and adapt varying modalities. Being familiar with ISO 17025 and gauge management software is a plus.
