Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) provides immediate and specialized nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and critical health conditions. This role requires quick decision-making, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to stabilize and treat patients. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care in emergency situations, including triage, assessment, and stabilization. Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as prescribed. Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans. Educate patients and families on care procedures, discharge instructions, and follow-up needs. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Operate and monitor medical equipment used in emergency care. Participate in ongoing training and emergency preparedness drills. Required Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Strong knowledge of emergency nursing practices and acute care protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina to manage demanding emergency care situations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Prior experience in emergency or critical care nursing. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or equivalent preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
