Pride Health is hiring for Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) – Nights | Washington

Shift: Nights

Schedule: 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week

Contract Type: Travel/Contract

Call Requirement: Yes

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification required
• Washington State Certification as a Radiologic Technologist required
• BLS Certification required
• Experience with:
• Shimadzu Portable (Rad Speed Pro)
• GE/OEC C-Arms
• OR/Operating Room imaging
• EPIC EMR
• Must be comfortable taking call

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and perform diagnostic radiology examinations safely and efficiently
• Operate assigned imaging equipment according to department protocols
• Evaluate diagnostic images for technical quality and accuracy
• Develop, initiate, and monitor procedures for effective scanner utilization
• Maintain cleanliness of imaging equipment per infection control standards
• Perform IV access using sterile technique and administer contrast media under physician supervision
• Follow all universal precautions and PPE requirements
• Complete all required documentation accurately within the EMR system
• Assist with safe patient lifting and transfers using proper ergonomic techniques and patient handling equipment
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare staff
